Upper South Creek Network – T1&3

To support the growth in Western Sydney, the Upper South Creek Network (USCN) Program has been designed to deliver wastewater infrastructure to the region. This will ensure a resilient, reliable water supply and protect the environment in the Upper South Creek area surrounding the new Western Sydney International Airport.

The Scope

To effectively navigate the uncertainty of growth within the area, the program will be awarded to the Jacobs and Seymour Whyte Joint Venture in Tranches of work, enabling a flexible and demand-driven approach to delivering the work, meaning that network assets will be constructed in particular catchment/s only when the demand level justifies it.

Alliance has completed Tranche 1 of the Program which included the detailed design and delivery of assets required to service the Nancy-Bird Walton Airport and Upper South Creek Advanced Wastewater Recycling Centre.

We are currently working on Tranche 3 and are proud to have successfully delivered comprehensive Geotechnical, Environmental and Groundwater Monitoring services for the USCN Program, across six key sites:

  • Mamre Road
  • Badgerys Creek
  • Cosgroves Creek
  • South Creek
  • Kemps Creek
  • Thompsons Creek

Our work has involved approximately 170 boreholes and test pits and marked our first collaboration with CreekConnect (a joint venture between Jacobs and Seymour Whyte).
