The project includes upgraded intersections, new motorway ramps, bridge abutments, reinforced soil walls and a shared path for pedestrians and cyclists, making it safer and easier to get around, especially for students accessing Broughton Anglican College.
Our scope of work included:
- Compaction testing of foundation, general fill, upper zone and select material plus heavily bound layers for pavement construction
- Compaction testing of drainage lines
- Compaction testing of bridge abutments and RSW wall layers
- Deflection testing of subgrade and SMZ layers
- Conformance testing for material properties for:
- Drainage (R11)
- Earth Fill and Upper Zone Fill (R44)
- SMZ and Heavily Bound Material (3071 & R73)
- Bridge abutments (B30)
- RSW Walls (R57/R58)
