Parramatta Light Rail is one of NSW Government’s latest major infrastructure projects, connecting Westmead and Carlingford with a two-way track spanning 12 kilometres through Camellia and the Parramatta CBD. The project presented numerous environmental challenges, due to historical land uses and the proximity to numerous and sensitive environmental receptors throughout the rail corridor. Alliance continues to provide consultancy support services to the primary contractor and their subcontractors on almost all sections of the project. The scope of services provided includes material/ waste classifications, groundwater monitoring well installation and monitoring events, acid sulfate soil assessments and occupational hygiene services.
