Manage the earth, eliminate the risk
Before a proposed development or civil works proceeds, stabilisation works may be required to assess the risk associated with a potential failure or landslide. We also provide immediate practical advice to manage an immediate risk and to reduce the consequence of any potential instability and regularly give advice on preferred design and construction practices for the development of sloping land.

AG’s landslide stability assessments are based on experience with geology and applying the current “Practice Note guidelines for Landslide Stabilisation Works” prepared by the Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS 2007).
We have adopted the risk acceptance criteria set out in AGS 2007 to determine whether the risks to property or life associated with a given slope are ‘acceptable’, ‘tolerable’ or ‘unacceptable’.
